Buying Squeeze buys you a licence to use it, not ownership of it. That licence is Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement, which every app on the App Store is sold under unless the developer files its own, and which we have not replaced: the standard EULA is here.

Use it, for anything, including commercial work. Nothing Squeeze produces is watermarked with our name, nothing it produces owes us a credit, and there is no separate licence to buy for using it at work.

What the licence does not extend to:

• Redistributing the app, as a copy, a repackage, or inside another product.
• Taking it apart to rebuild it, beyond what Singapore law allows you to do regardless of what this page says.
• Using the Squeeze name, icon or mark for your own product, or in a way that suggests we made or endorsed something we did not. Writing about the app, reviewing it, or telling people you use it is not that, and needs no permission from us.

Squeeze reads files you already own and writes new ones beside them. Both are yours. Compressing a photograph with Squeeze gives us no claim over the photograph, the output, or anything you do with either, and no copy of any of it reaches us: the work happens on your Mac.

We claim no licence over any of it. Not to use it, not to store it, not to train anything on it. This is not a promise we have to keep carefully, which is the point: there is no server to keep it on.

Squeeze includes the open-source components below. Each is used under its own licence, each licence requires its copyright notice to be reproduced, and this is where we reproduce it. Their authors are not affiliated with Slash UI and do not endorse Squeeze.

Apple's own frameworks are not listed here. They are part of the operating system Squeeze runs on and are licensed to you by Apple, not by us.

Tell us and we will look at it properly. hi@slashui.com, with enough to identify the work and where you believe it appears. A person reads it, and you will get an answer rather than a form. If we are wrong we would rather hear it from you than from a lawyer.
