Email hi@slashui.com and you will get a reply from a person, not a ticket number. It helps to say which version of NachoBill and which version of iOS you are on, both of which are in Settings.

If a particular bill reads badly, tell us what kind of receipt it was and which line went wrong. Please do not send the photograph unless we ask: NachoBill is built so that the bill stays on your phone, and we would rather keep it that way.

Photograph the bill, or pick a photo you already took. NachoBill reads it on the phone and shows you what it read. Fix anything it got wrong, then flick each dish onto whoever ate it. When the pile is empty, every share is on screen and the shares add up to the total printed on the paper.

There is no demo bill and no sample receipt. A scan either reads the photograph in your hand or it fails and tells you so, and every amount comes from characters the recogniser actually returned.

Every line on the review screen is editable, with the photograph right there beside it, and you can add a line the scan missed. A reading is repaired rather than thrown away: if you switch to typing, you start from the lines it did get right instead of from an empty screen.

That is a line whose total is right but whose reading is ambiguous in a way that changes how it splits, such as six items at 2.00 against one item at 12.00. The two split very differently, so NachoBill asks rather than guesses, and holds the button until you answer. Pick the reading that matches the paper and it unlocks.

A row of four drinks can go to four people, one each. Assign the line to everyone who had one and NachoBill divides it between them.

That is on purpose. NachoBill works out what each person's share is and whether the shares add up to the total, and stops there. It does not know who put their card down, it tracks no debt between people, and it will not invent one. There is no settle-up screen and there is not going to be.

It is one payment, not a subscription. Nothing renews, and it is shared with your family through Family Sharing. Splits you made before you unlocked are still on your phone: they were never deleted, only hidden behind the unlock.

Use Restore Purchases in Settings. It will not start a new purchase, and it is what to use on a new phone or after a reinstall. If it says there is nothing to restore, check you are signed in to the same Apple Account that bought it, including the organiser's account if it came through Family Sharing.

Twenty-six receipt languages across five scripts, and every currency. Switching a language on costs nothing and needs no network: the recogniser is already on your phone and the receipt vocabulary is already in the app, so a language you turn on in Bangkok works in Bangkok with the data switched off.

Some languages offer an optional dish-name lexicon, which does need the network once. It only improves how item names are read. It never decides whether a language works and it never changes an amount.
